Booking & Cancellation Policies
Thank you for choosing Aligned Learning. These policies help keep scheduling clear and ensure each family receives dedicated time and support.
All individual appointments—including the Special Education Consultation, IEP Clarity Session, and Parent Listening Session—follow the policies below
Booking & Payment
Full payment is required before an individual appointment takes place or a program begins.
If a payment arrangement has been agreed upon, the full balance must be paid before services begin. Scheduling details and video-call instructions will be provided by email.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Please check the time zone shown when booking.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
For individual appointments canceled at least 24 hours in advance, you may choose to reschedule without charge or receive a full refund.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are nonrefundable. For programs, these appointments count as used sessions.
I understand that emergencies happen. Please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation.
Late Arrivals
Please join your session at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, we will use the remaining appointment time. Sessions end at their originally scheduled time, and missed time is not refunded.
Four-Week Program Cancellations & Refunds
The $650 program includes:
- Initial 75-minute parent strategy session: $150
- Personalized learning and behavior plan, preparation, and initial resources: $300
- Four 30-minute follow-up sessions: $50 each
- Weekday email support during the program at no additional charge
Before the initial session or personalized preparation begins, you may cancel for a full refund.
Once the initial session has taken place, its $150 fee is nonrefundable. Once your personalized plan has been delivered, the $300 planning fee is nonrefundable.
If you choose to end the program, unused follow-up sessions are refundable at $50 per session. Completed sessions, sessions missed without notice, and sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are nonrefundable.
If I cannot complete an agreed service and we cannot arrange a suitable alternative, you will receive a refund for that undelivered service.
Child Observation Add-On
Child observations must be arranged with me directly and paid in full before the appointment. The same 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy applies.
In-person services requiring travel are quoted separately. Any travel costs and cancellation conditions will be agreed upon in writing before booking.
If I Need to Cancel
If I need to cancel an appointment, you may choose to reschedule at no additional charge or receive a refund for that session.
For programs, any affected services that cannot be rescheduled will be refunded.
Scope of Services
Aligned Learning provides educational consulting, parent coaching, and supportive listening. Services do not include legal representation, diagnostic assessments, medical care, or mental health treatment.
Recommendations are personalized to your family, but specific educational or behavioral outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
